Quick answers for the app’s most-used features.

01

How do I save a wallpaper?

Open a wallpaper and tap the download icon. The first time you save an image, iOS will ask for permission to add images to Photos. After saving, open Photos to set it as your Lock Screen or Home Screen wallpaper.

02

Why did my wallpaper not save?

Open Settings, then Privacy & Security, Photos, and PastelWallpaper. Allow the app to add photos, return to PastelWallpaper, and try again. Also make sure your device has enough available storage.

03

How do I add a wallpaper to Favorites?

Tap the heart icon on any wallpaper. Open the heart tab to see your saved favorites. Tap the heart again to remove an image.

04

How do I add one of my own photos?

Open My Photos and tap Choose Photos. The system Photos picker lets you select up to 10 images without giving the app access to your entire library. Selected images are copied to the app’s private local storage.

05

How do I add text?

Open Add Text, choose a built-in wallpaper or one of your personal photos, and tap Add Text. You can change the font, color, size, scale, and rotation, then drag the words into place.

06

Are my photos or favorites uploaded?

No. Personal photos, favorites, folders, and text settings remain on your device. PastelWallpaper does not require an account or upload this information.

07

Does PastelWallpaper contain ads or purchases?

No. The current version has no advertising, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
